Bobbye T. Slusher

Bobbye Ruth Temple Slusher, formerly of Cunningham, Texas died Thursday, June 14, 2012 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at the Wood Funeral Home, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 pm under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.  Interment will be at the Cunningham Cemetery in Cunningham, Texas.

Bobbye was born September 20, 1927 to Leslie and Olga Temple in Pattonville, Texas.  She married Clyde Slusher July 14, 1948 in Cunningham, Texas.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of fifty two years and three sisters, Vleta Swaim, Margie Ball and Donna Hulett.

She attended East Texas State University; she was a member of Theta Epsilon Sorority in Burkburnett, Texas and retired after thirty years of Civil Service at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas.  She was a member of the Burkburnett Church of Christ.

She is survived by four children, daughter Stephanie and husband E.C. McLaughlin of Burkburnett, Texas, son Steve Slusher of Farmers Branch, son Jackie Slusher and wife, Jackie of Wichita Falls, Tx,  daughter Janet and husband, Jackson Smith of Mansfield, Texas, eleven grandchildren, Taylor Slusher, Tim Slusher, Tori Slusher, T.J. Slusher, Keri Slusher, Kasey Hyde, Shane McLaughlin, Josh Ward, Lesa Kirkland, Jonathen Milstead and A.J. Smith,  brother, Dennis Temple; eleven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Wood Funeral Home in Deport, Texas.  Condolences made be made to  www.woodfuneralhomes.com.
