    Dear Jerry and Mike,
I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s death. Of course, I remember
your folks and you two as far back as I can recall. My parents counted yours as such good friends! It’s hard to realize that so many of us now are without our wonderful parents. They were good examples for us, weren’t they? Mike, we go through Sweetwater often as we live
in Midland. I am glad to have this means of sending you my heartfelt
    sympathy.
