John Floyd Nolen, 68 of Paris

johnnolenJohn Floyd Nolen, 68 of Paris, died at the home of his sister in Clarksville on Monday, September 19, 2016.

He was born on April 23, 1948 in Deport, the son Joe and Billie Fay Keith Nolen.  Prior to his retirement he worked for Loomis Armored Transport.  He was a Viet Nam US Army Veteran and a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Deport.  He was known by everyone as someone that was always there to do anything for anybody at any time.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Billie Fay Nolen and one brother, Larry Nolen.

He is survived by his wife, Dot Nolen of Paris; his daughter, Kaitlyn Wade and husband, Devin of Breckinridge; step-sons, Tad Nichols of Indianapolis and Lat Nichols of Deport; grandchildren, Lucy Grace Wade, Skylar Woodall, Randi Latimer and Bo Nichols; 4 great-grandchildren; 7 siblings, Sue Thomason, Myra Johnson, Kay Haddock, Pat Hubbard, Bobby Nolen, Mark Nolen and Jan Burgess.

With respect to John Nolen’s wishes, he will be cremated. A Memorial Service has been scheduled for Saturday, September 24 at 6:00pm under the pavilion of the Bogata Cemetery with Dr. LC Stout officiating.  Wood Funeral Homes, Bogata have charge of the arrangements.
