Larry D. Woodall, 81 of Clardy

pawpaw2Larry D. Woodall, 81 of Clardy, passed away at his home on January 27, 2015. Graveside Services were held at 11:00am on Thursday at Meadowbrook Cemetery.

Ms. Woodall was born on June 15, 1933 in Lamar County, Texas, to Arthur and Florence Cotton Woodall. He served his country in the Army. Larry married Edith Bryant on June 30, 1951. The enjoyed 61 years together before she passed away on July 18, 2012. Larry worked for Flex-O-Lite for 40 plus years. He retired to be with Edith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edith; son, Richard Todd Woodall; sister Jimmie Nell Lancaster; and his parents, Arthur and Florence Woodall..
Survivors are his six children: Vickie Pickens and husband, Clyde of Paris; LaFawn Barham and husband, Jimmy of Paris; Barry Woodall and wife, Diane of Pattonville; Renita Hall and husband, J.L. Partlow of Rowlett; Priscilla McGuire of Frisco and Anna Upchurch and husband, Clint of Paris; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Larry and Edith were always together. If you saw one, you saw the other. Larry loved working outside and tending to his cows. Larry and Edith made the rounds on a daily basis checking their cows, which he continued after Edith’s passing. Larry and Edith enjoyed going on trail rides in their covered wagon with their mules. After Edith passed, Larry wanted to do one more trail ride. He made his last trail ride on January 27 where he was rejoined with Edith as one.
