Wayne Williams, 80 of Deport

Charles Wayne Williams, 80 of Deport, Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 28, 2014. Funeral Services will be held on 3:00pm Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Wood Funeral Homes, Deport with Dr. L.C. Stout officiating. The family will gather to receive friends and family at 2:00pm at the Funeral Home.

Wayne, as he was known by friends and family, was born on December 15, 1933 in Lamar County, Texas the youngest son of Lloyd and Susie Devlin Williams. He was retired from B&W in Paris and prior to his illness was an active member of Faith Baptist Church in Deport. He is an US Air Force Veteran. He married Floy Tully Francis in April of 1991. She survives him today, as does his sons: Terry Williams and wife, Deborah of Carrollton and Ricky Williams and wife, Laura of Sumner; step-sons, Joey Francis and wife, Gala of Deport and Mark Francis of Paris; grandchildren: Brandyn Williams and wife, Chelsa of Austin; Tanner Williams of Arlington; Josh Williams and wife, Holly of Sherman; Josey Francis, Jessica Francis, John Mark Francis, and Jera Francis all of Deport.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Williams and sister, Robbie Jo Wright.
