Kathy Love, 87 of Johntown



Kathleen (Kathy) Love, age 87 of Johntown died at her residence Sunday, January 26,2014. Funeral services will be 12 noon Wednesday, January 29 at Lamar Avenue Church of Christ in Paris with Mr. Patrick Cannon officiating. Burial will be in Bogata Cemetery under direction of Wood Funeral Home. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.


Mrs. Love was born September 4, 1926 in Lauratown , Arkansas the daughter of Ralph and Pearl Forest Medlock.  She married Kenneth (Ken) A. Love on August 24, 1946 in Searcy, Arkansas.  She and her husband lived in Richardson from 1955 until he retired in 1987 when they moved to Johntown.
She was a member of Lamar Avenue Church of Christ in Paris.


Mrs. Love is survived by her husband Ken, two daughters, Karen Love Werner and husband Dennis of Houston and Becky Love Steinbring of Richardson; three grandchildren, Travis Steinbring of Dallas, Garrett Steinbring and wife Lexi of Richardson and Julia Drinnon and husband Oneal of Cunningham; one great- granddaughter, Kaylee Rebecca Steinbring, and a brother Bill Medlock and wife Anita of Dixon, Illinois.


The family would like to especially thank all the caregivers of Platinum Healthcare-Janie, Linda, and Mandy; special family friends, Robin Starr and especially her long time in house care giver Kim Wesson, their church family from Lamar Ave Church of Christ and also John David Wright.
