Zelma Mauldin, 89 of Bogata

zelmaZelma Mauldin, 89 of Bogata, died in Clarksville Nursing Center on Sunday, January 19, 2014.  Funeral services will be 11 am, Thursday, January 23 at Cuthand Methodist Church with Rev. John Purviance officiating. Interment will be at Bogata Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Homes. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

Mrs. Mauldin was born December 20, 1924 in Ft. Worth, Texas the daughter of James Lee and Jettie Opal Latimer Minshew. She married Eugene Earnest Mauldin in Clarksville on June 14, 1941. He preceded her in death August 9, 1991. She was also preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Mauldin on October 3, 2007.

She is survived by two daughters, Phyllis Duffer and husband, Kenneth and Susie Fowler and husband, Billy all of Bogata; one son, Jerry Mauldin and wife, Belinda of Biloxi, Mississippi; two sisters, Margie Garrett and Yvonne Powell both of The Colony; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
