Robert James Braudaway, 70 of Biardstown

Robert James Braudaway, age 70 of Paris, died at his home on December 17, 2013.  Wood Funeral Homes will conduct Chapel Services at 11:00am Friday, December 20 at Wood Funeral Homes in Deport.  The Family will receive friends on Thursday from 6-7pm at the Funeral Home

He was born on November 7, 1943 in San Diego, California.  He married Patsy Grunau on December 8, 1967.  He was a retired Master Carpenter and had served in the National Guard in the 60’s.  He was preceded in death by his son, Tony in 1997 and daughter, Tammy in 2011, and his mother, Ada Goldie McPherson.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy of the home; daughter, Bobbie Jo Whisenand of North Richland Hills; 3 grandchildren:  Trisha Boner, Lynsie Whisenand, and Gary [Buddha] Whisenand III; 3 great-grandchildren:  Amber Boner, Aidan Gage Boner and Jeremiah Whisenand;  half-sister, Linda Perez, half brother, John McPherson; step-sister, Linda Sue Murden; step-brothers, Gary McPherson and Ronald Lee McPherson.

    Robert James Braudaway is my grand-father since July 7th, 1993. He got to see and hold me when I was just a little girl! The last time I seen him was when I was 4 years! The day my dad (Tony) died my mom took me from Pairs, TX! We moved to Springtown, TX it was had on her taking my from Robert but it was killing her to stay! plus she wasn’t about to give up the only part of Tony she had left! She couldn’t stand being where her one true love had died! I wish my grandfather would have got to See, and spend a lot more time with me than what we did!! One day soon I want have to want for him in my life, cuz I will have him there! When I make it to HEAVEN, and Im walking along Robert James Braudaway, Anthony Neal Braudaway, and Tammy Renee Braudaway sides my life will be comeplete for the first time in my life!
