Estelle Chappell, 97

Mrs. Estelle Chappell, age 97 of Longview died on Saturday, July 6, 2013 in Good Shepherd Medical Center of Longview.  Services will be held on Wednesday, July 10 at 11:00 AM in Highland Cemetery  Wood Funeral Homesm 508 Monroe Street, Deport, Texas have charge of the arrangements.  The family will receive friends and family from 10-11am at the Wood Funeral Home.

 

She was born on December 7, 1915 in Lamar County, Texas, the daughter of James Robert {Bob} and Ivie Rosella Robinson Finch.  Her husband, Harvey Houston Chappell preceded her in death on January 12, 1999, as did a granddaughter, Holly Manna in July, 2012.

 

Survivors include her sons, Willard Chappell and wife, Cynthia of White Oak and Delbert Chappell and wife, Loretta of Denison; sister, Frances Hoover of Paris; sister in law, Ruby Morgan of Dallas;  3 grandchildren:  Dee Anna Harvey, Paul Poole and Penney Reeves; 5 great-grandchildren:  Joe Manna, Madeline Manna, Gunnar Reeves, Reagan Reeves, and Hannah Poole.
