  1. Tony Abbott says:

To my cousins: I am so sorry for the loss of your daddy. He was always fun to be around when we were kids at grandma Abbott’s house. He will be missed by many who knew him. I won’t be able to attend the service or visitation unless I can find a ride. I just don’t feel like driving that far by myself. I do hope you understand. May time heal the hurt you feel right now and may the memories be lasting and sweet.

  2. Bill Abbott family says:

    Gene’s family and friends,
We are deeply saddened to learn of Gene’s passing. Dad (Bill) has been reminiscing about Gene in the “good ole days” when they lived in Childress and Gene being a part of the family. I remember when I was little and Mom & Pop lived in Amarillo (before I-40, when Gene was in High School, then servied as the candle lighter at his wedding and tilting the candelabra over because I wasn’t tall enough to reach the candles. Mom (Vina) had a stroke, Gene thought it was funny.
Diana, Kelly, Terri, Robbi, Toby, Jason, Seth and Aaron you are in our thoughts and prayers. May the Lord be with you and comfort you.
Mitch, Tonya, Bill, and Vina Abbott
