William Marvin Haney, 83

William Marvin Haney, 83 of the Pine Branch Community, died at his home on January 6, 2013.  Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Bogata Cemetery with Reverend Billy Daniels officiating  No visitation will be held.

Mr. Haney was born on January 9, 1929 in Forney, Texas, the son of William Wadsworth and Bertie Atheline  Bass Haney.  He was a US Navy Veteran and was retired from Bennett Miller  Associates of Dallas.  He married the former Rene’ Stephenson on September 21, 1968 in Dallas.

He is survived by his wife; a son, Don Haney of Bogata; two sisters, Georgia Allison of Kansas and Claudia Roe of Oceanside, California; brother, Sandy Frances Haney and a sister-in-law, Betty Black of Dallas.  He was preceded in death by a brother, Harry E. Haney.

 

 

 

  1. uncle bill i am sorry i didn’t get to see u more and that u have been so sick, and to me u are still my uncle bill that i knew that would always would make me laugh when i was a little girl. u made my mom carazy when you would say, ‘tera the tarable’! i miss that.u told me when i was a girl to always pick myself up and dust off… i have remebered that; and i wish that i could of told u that agin sooner. i will keep u in my heart always. oh can you tell uncle ron and my me-may hi for me if it is not too much trouble. i love you so much. tera yamamoto

      Dearest Tara. I love and miss you so much. I wish we had more time together. Thank you so much for your comments. I can just hear uncle bill calling you terrible tata just to bug your mom. But I know he loved you both. Don and his wife are taking good care of me while I’m in hospital and when I get out i know tgey will cintinue. M a tbe u can cone to reunion in June this year. Would live to see you again. Hugs and kisses.
